Hi Alex,
Thanks to contacting us about your purchase.
Did you follow all steps mentioned in the documentation (http://static.synolia.com/sugarmodules/SynoGenerateDoc/SYNOLIA_SugarCRM_Module_SynoGenerateDoc_FR_V1.8.pdf) for the installation and all to add a new template ?
You may try to: - perform a quick repair and rebuild - refresh your cash browser - check that a document template has been setup for a module (like Contact) in the Document section - check that a new button appears on the left side of the Contact record view

Additionnaly, please see enclosed a recap of all the field I am using. Only 1 of them is working : contacts.full_name when a document is directly linked to contact module. When document is linked to opportunities or accounts, none of them is working.
Could you please investigate and come back to me.
Thanks, Alex
Here is my example of document linked to opportunities module.
[accounts.name;block=w:tr] [accounts.billing_address_city] [accounts.billing_address_postalcode] [accounts.billing_address_street] [accounts.shipping_address_street] [accounts.shipping_address_postalcode] [accounts.shipping_address_city]
[opportunities.name] [opportunities.type_opportunite_c] [opportunities.ouvrage_c] [opportunities.type_opportunite_c] [opportunities.prix_facture_c] [opportunities.date_de_fin_c] [opportunities.volume_c] [opportunities.date_d'accord] [opportunities.bag_pass_trad_c] [opportunities.bag_cur_eu_c] [opportunities.bag_eb_pass_c] [opportunities.bag_materiel_c] [opportunities.emplacement_c] [opportunities.typologie_c] [opportunities.consommation_conditionnemet_c] [opportunities.typologie_c] [opportunities.unite_c] [opportunities.nb_re_c] [opportunities.frequence_facturation_c] [opportunities.description] [opportunities.date_debut_c] [opportunities.date_de_resiliation_c] [opportunities.date_de_fin_c] [opportunities.bag_eb_duree_c] [opportunities.bag_cur_eu_c]

Hello,
You can find a special document in the Documentation page. This is called the "var extractor" and the link is here . Use this as a template for a document to extract all variables available for a module. Once the document is setup for a module, simply go and use the template and all the variables will be available in the generated document. Other template exemples are available in the documentation page.

Hi,
The document you sent is called Informational Document and doesn't show how to extract all variables....
Look is really painfull to use this module due to lack of information. I I cannot understand how works your apps I will ask for a 500$ refund...
I have been using MS Word pluggin so I am kind of used to working with dynamic links... This doesn't work when is should be simple to build on your side a word doc that show how to populate native links...
I will appreciate your quick help plse ..
Kind Regards Alex

Hello,
With the module is easy to generate documents and spreadsheets. But is quite difficult to create the templates required to do this. As stated in the previous reply, use the "Var Extractor" document as a template. To do this follow these steps:
The downloaded file will display all the variables available to be used in your templates for that module. If you change the main module, your variables will change as well. These variables can be used in any Office documents like .docx, .xlsx, etc.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: When creating template files be sure to disable all "help" features from Office like grammar or spelling as these features will change ( and break) the variables and they will not be properly interpreted.
It is very important to read the documentation for this module as is not easy to setup. Once setup it is a powerful tool in generating documents.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
