#3735 - Q2L Nothing is happening

Q2L version v37.1 (trail verson.)

Q1: Is ther any direferns betwee trail versin and pay version ..?

Problem:
Installation went well, the modul is display on targetlist. No problem with creating sql jobb and went runing "check query" i get result back.
(connection target list with report Leads).
On target list when I click in "Run query" thothing is happning and no reslut .

any suggestions .. ..?

    Is the scheduler running? You can check this in Admin > Scheduler
    Is the Quick2List schedule set to Active?
    When you view the scehdule are there any jobs running or have any run?
    How big is the data? It might take a while to build the list if the list is '000's
    Are there any references to Quick2List in the log files?

    Is the list now populated?
    How often is the query set to run?
    6600 records may take a while (an hour or so) so dont set the query to run to quickly otherwise it will never catch up.
    What type of action is set (e.g. is it REMOVE & REDO? because you dont want the list to be populated only for the query queue start over and remove everyone before rerunning the query)
    Try Q2L on a small list to test first.
    Also other list queries might delay a list. All lists are queued so if you have another list maybe scheduled to update say every 1 minutes and it has to process 6000+ records the queue will never catch up so be careful

    6600 records may take a while (an hour or so) so dont set the query to run to quickly otherwise it will never catch up.

    What type of action is set (e.g. is it REMOVE & REDO? because you dont want the list to be populated only for the query queue start over and remove everyone before rerunning the query)
    - Append

    Try Q2L on a small list to test first.
    - I have add ' limit 200' to SQl so it only fecth 2oo rows. but still not workning.

    Do you have access to the database tables to see what is going on?
    If you do please check if there are any records in the table "off_quick2list_schedule"
    This table holds the queue of records to be processed.
    If the table is empty then there is nothing to process and the issue is likely to be related to the scheduler not running or the query has some issues.
    If the table has thousands of records then you might want to delete the records from this table (only records from this one table!).
    Then make sure all queries are inactive and turn on your small 200 record query and see if it gets processed.

    If the table is empty already then the problem maybe the query.
    Please can you let us know what the query is doing. Maybe there is something the scheduler part does not like.

      The table is emty.
      I have change the query so it just return 1 row. and still nothing.
      the report is just fech all active "Leads" (see attchemed image.)

      Other thing.
      I test to create "Dynamic Target List" from menu.
      but is dos not apperd in regular "Target List" ... =?

    Ok, We have a fix for you. It turns out that Sugar 8 handles dates differently which caused our Quick2List processor to fail to run. We have uploaded a fix / new release.

    Please download and install this update and try again on a small list to start with.
    By the way your "6,600 leads" was actually 66,000 leads which is ok but don't run this too often as it will take time to populate the list and may impact performance.

      Runing the new plugins, Run on report that jsut return 44 rows.
      get the same result, no data return on target List.

    We have had a similar issue... do we need to uninstall 3.72 before uploading and installing 3.73?

    Not sure if of the Sugar update process for modules. We are using Sugar 8

    Hi nilsottosson,

    Have you configured a scheduler on your server to run the cron.php file for SugarCRM?

    This runs the scheduler in Sugar and processes the dynamic target lists, the test instance you supplied to us does not have a running scheduler.

    This is done within the cronjob in Linux or Windows Scheduler.

      I add the schedlut to crantab lsit and reisntall the plugins, and recreate the tagetList from report.
      it seams workning now.
      (more info have been send to HeldDesk mail.).
      I will try with a larger list later.
