Also, here is a picture showing it working in SugarCE in Edit view, QuickCRM and the generated PDF. It works for both Quote and Invoice modules.

MIchah, You could attempt to contact Bill Nguyen at YouAddOn.com ... as he has helped me with this plugin even though he didn't write it. Bill's Skype id is "youaddon" and it is the quickest way to contact him. Or you can email him at bill@youaddon.com Don

Just so everyone is aware, the modification that Yannick at Captivea did to allow the drawing field to work with AOS Invoices and Quotes works great. In total, it is a much less expensive solution than the other solutions out there if all you need is a basic signature capture.

Not sure if others would be ok with this, but I would be ok with something that would require the user to touch or click a "save"or "done" box to save the drawing into the field. When using this as a signature capture this would simulate many actual signature capture devices we're all accustomed to... by acknowledging that we "completed the signature." I wonder if that "button" could then run some script that would insert an unseen "dot" or something in that drawing field to get what was captured on the touch screen to save. Might be a useful workaround until a more comprehensive solution can be found.

Being on Bluehost, I don't have the option of PHP 5.3. It is either 5.2 or 5.4. After doing some research and speaking with Bluehost, I was assured that Sugar would run fine on 5.4, so I changed the simple php.ini to 5.4 and the module loaded up just fine.

No problem, thanks for responding. If you are unsure where to direct me next based on the php and apache info I emailed to you, I would be happy to pay for some consulting time for you to log into our instance and see what the problem is. I'd really like to be able to use your plugin! Thanks!

I'm guessing that these don't have anything to do with the calendar module, though

It appears the following error is being reported in the sugar log file when I attempt to load the Calendar:

I cleared the cache in both Firefox and Chrome, restarted the browsers and tried to launch the calendar in each. No change.

My developer fixed the problem and said this:
You get an error : Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in /home4/homeimq3/public_html/cin/modules/cap_License_Drawing/OutfittersLicense_Drawing.php on line 428 (The message is surprising since there is nothing like Static on line 428)
That happens most probably because your php version is older than 5.3
I have temporarily removed that call when opening the admin page so that you can at least open your admin page (modified /public_html/cin/custom/modules/Administration/Ext/Administration/administration.ext.php) Be careful. If you do a quick repair, this problem will happen again unless you uninstall that module (which you probably should do until they fix that)
I guess you will need help from Captivea and/or SugarOutfitters to fix that.

SugarCRM CE 6.5.18 on a Bluehost VPS.
After hitting the button to install the module, the screen below the menu went blank. Further attempts to navigate to the admin console (the index php) were unsuccessful. So I navigated directly to the link that allows for a repair/rebuild and it came up with the suggested line to modify the config_override.php file. At any rate, that did not help, so I changed it back. The admin console is still blank.

Try creating several different roles and dashboards. What I've found is that the button works on some dashboards and not others. If you bring up the javascript console it kicks out this error after pressing the "Add Dashlet" button ... "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'style' of null."
