Hi, I had already posted a comment from the Hosting Provider (Heart Internet) which says that loopback calls towards the same server are not allowed to prevent infinite loops and server crash. Conceptually speaking, beside my personal issue, the component works in this way: there is a joomla installation on a server, and a SugarCRM installation elsewhere, on another server. Am I right? I have purchased another domain name, set up a web space on the same Hosting Provider I am using (Heart Internet), installed SugarCE onto it, and then linked it to Joomla, the same way I saw onto your guides, website and comments. This way it works. My customer isn't happy about the fact that I had to buy another domain name just to install SugarCE to link it to the Joomla Website. Now, I understand Earth Internet people's concerns about scripts that end up in infinite loops, taking down servers because they never end. At the same time I don't understand why SugaryCB works this way, why the only way to make it work is to have the two programs (Joomla and Sugar) onto different servers. But as it works the same ways also in your tests, I think it's a design choice. Which I don't understand, considering that a logical situation would see probably a joomla website and a SugarCRM installation to be onto the same webspace, maybe with the SugarCRM in a folder inside a Joomla Installation.
Now, I am even having Sugar that doens't work as it should. It's not your problem, but after weeks I find myself that I spent money, wasted time, the client does not want to pay for all the time spent in solving the issue, and I have to give up on Sugar because it can't even reset an user password without going into a server timeout and breaking the connection...

Hi, I have been in contact with the Hosting Company during the weekend, and this is their latest reply, about the NUSOAP Proxy error that keeps on appearing:
"Hi Eden,
Thanks for your patience.
I have checked this over and conversed with a senior colleague regarding this matter and we believe that the cause of the issue would be due to a loop back request being made.
Our servers prevent scripts making HTTP (port 80) connections back to the same server that they're running on, as policy.
This is done to prevent the possibility that mis-configured scripts could enter, essentially, an "infinite loop", making call-backs to themselves. Such a situation is extremely detrimental to server performance, and would negatively impact other users also on this shared server.
Unfortunately we are not able to lift this block on a per-site or per-script basis, so you will need to see if you are able to reconfigure the script (or contact the script authors for assistance doing this), or use an alternative script that doesn't require HTTP requests to its own server.
To work around this, you could try configuring the index.php script to use the following URL: https://web40.secure-secure.co.uk/crm.evehogroup.com/ instead of http://crm.evehogroup.com
If you have any other questions, please let us know."
This was partially referred to the diagnostic script of SugarCE installed in http://www0.evehogroup.com/sugardiagnostic/
I have also tried this url, I don't know if it can help you: http://crm.evehogroup.com/service/v4_1/soap.php#
At present I haven't found a way to make the SugaryCB extension work, which is pretty frustrating... :-(

The diagnostic is reporting a NUSOAP PROXY error, so we are back to square one. Now, my hosting provider still hasn't got back to me about it, but what I am trying to understand is what is managing the NUSOAP PROXY error... The SugarCRM installation, something on the hosting provider's server? How can I control, install, uninstall, manage SOAP?

Hi, this is the response from the Hosting Provider (Heart Internet UK): "Hi Eden,
The errors logged by PHP are as follows:
www0.evehogroup.com [Sat Nov 26 15:09:27 2016] [error] [client 80.90.193.161:55324] AH01215: PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'error' in /home/sites/evehogroup.com/public_html/web01/administrator/components/com_sugarycb/classes/sugarcrmclient.php on line 76: /home/sites/evehogroup.com/public_html/web01/administrator/index.php www0.evehogroup.com [Sat Nov 26 15:09:27 2016] [error] [client 80.90.193.161:55324] AH01215: PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'number' in /home/sites/evehogroup.com/public_html/web01/administrator/components/com_sugarycb/classes/sugarcrmclient.php on line 76: /home/sites/evehogroup.com/public_html/web01/administrator/index.php
These imply that there is an issue with the code being used on the website - Can you please check this with the software providers?"

I will do better, I will give you my details (I can always change them once the problem is fixed) Login: test_admin Pwd: crmtest
It seems that sugar lets create new users and admins, but doesn't let an admin change the password of other users/admins. It seems that only the created user can change it with the "lost password" link. I don't know why the CRM is not responding and it's not sending you the password for your account, as far as I know it has been installed correctly...
Thanks a lot for your help and I am so sorry to cause such trouble, but I was expecting the component to work flawlessly and I can't understand why the CRM URL information is not being validated....

Hi, I have followed your instructions both yesterday, when I have uploaded the new files (the situation improved, now CB sees with a green tick symbol the plug-in) and today, when I have replaced the php file you have sent me. Still there are issues.
I have confronted your websites (joomla and Sugar) with mine, on the requirements side it seems they are similar. But on my website, the SugaryCB component doesn't accept my crm url. I have created an account for you, both on my website and the crm.
The website is under development at present, therefore it is accessible via a temporary 301 redirection. I hope it's not that the problem. But I don't think so, because when I have put "http://demo.m8solutions.com/sugar" in the CRM URL field, with the associated username and password, it accepted them. I don't know if there something wrong in the way sugaryCB manages the URLs or the Admin/PWD fields...
Website URL: http://www0.evehogroup.com Website Admin URL: http://www0.evehogroup.com/administrator/ Login: sourcecreativity PWD: source
CRM: http://crm.evehogroup.com Login: sourcecreativity PWD: Na (I have inserted support@sourcecreativity in the email field, Sugar doesn't let me set a password)

Hi, thank you for your help. The problem for which I have posted the message still persist, but uploading the updated versions of the files solved all the other problems.
Joomla: 3.6.4 CB: 2.0.15 SugarCE 6.5.15 PHP: 7.0.13 (my hosting provider has a PHP switch from 5.2 to 5.5, and I had chosen PHP 5.5... I don't know why Joomla is showing 7.0.13)
Funnily enough, I have downloaded the SugarCE 6.5.24, but I cannot install it, because it doesn't accept the special character "-" in the database name, and my hosting provider generates automatically names with it, and I cannot change that. I will have to keep the 6.5.15 until I will understand what I can do to solve the issue. So, I confirm at present SugarCE 6.5.15
