#4253 - How to mass delete activities
Our sugar cloud provider has warned us about the size of our database.
We have over a million sugarchimp activities from our many years running the software. To use mass delete would take far too long as it will only select 5000 at a time.
Is there a quicker batch way to delete?

Below is a list of database tables related to Sugarchimp. Please confirm which of these should be truncated. sugarchimp sugarchimpactivity sugarchimpactivity_accounts sugarchimpactivity_audit sugarchimpactivity_contacts sugarchimpactivity_leads sugarchimpactivity_prospects sugarchimpactivity_tasks_1_c sugarchimp_activity_tracker sugarchimp_backup_queue sugarchimp_batches sugarchimp_lock sugarchimp_mailchimp_backup sugarchimp_mc sugarchimp_mc_activity sugarchimp_mc_campaign sugarchimp_mc_cleaned_email sugarchimp_mc_list sugarchimp_mc_people sugarchimp_optout_tracker sugarchimp_sugar_backup
I'm not sure how to respond. Can I say "delete the lot" or would that be a very bad move?

Thanks for this response. If you're looking to remove and delete activities, they can truncate the following:
sugarchimpactivity_accounts sugarchimpactivity_audit sugarchimpactivity_contacts sugarchimpactivity_leads sugarchimpactivity_prospects sugarchimpactivity_tasks_1_c
It's worth noting that truncating will remove all activities. If you only want to remove activities beyond a certain date, you'll want to let Sugar know.
