This email is in response to Case#2041: Mailchimp activities not showing in Sugar
We haven't heard from you regarding the issue in a few days. To help jog your memory, here is the last comment on the ticket:

I understand your concern as you do not want to have to start over! As long as you update the config items via the documents, you will not lose any settings. You should not have to go to the SugarChimp Configuration page. If you are on Sugar7 or Sugar8 then you will be able to adjust the settings via the Console browser exactly how the document describes.
If you are not comfortable doing these updates yourself, then we can schedule a call to look at it together here:
We are at SugarCon next week, so we do not have any call availability until Monday the 15th.

I did update from 8.0.1 to the latest version but only after I became aware of the problem so yes prompting a resync makes good sense. However, when I go to config I get the first run setup process showing "welcomed to Sugarchimp" and the "lets get started" button. Given I'm already setup I don't want to risk running this in case it changes something. Is there any way I can skip this and get the settings?

When did you first notice these errors with the Sugar Chimp integration? Could you please check if you are running the latest version of the integration? There have been some issues reported about the compatibility between SugarChimp and Sugar 8 which have been addressed in the latest release: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/support/SugarChimp/3670
I have checked the sugarcrm.log file on the live instance and I can see the following errors just before the SugarChimp fatal errors:
[FATAL] workflow attempting to send alert to inactive user M*** A*****
[FATAL] PHPMailerProxy encountered an error: You must provide at least one recipient email address.
I am not sure if the issue is related but could you please check the workflows created for the SugarChimp integration and update them with a valid user account?
Please note that it is not recommended to change the level of logging for the production instance as it can impact the performance. We can, however, create a clone instance and change the logging level there so that you can use to further troubleshoot the issue.
I am looking forward to your updates.
We are running the latest release so that's not it. The user they mentioned has left the company and their account has been disabled but I'm not aware of anywhere in the config that we flag that or any other user. I can now see mailchimp activities coming through up to the 25th of June but no clickthrough tasks. Our clickthrough tasks from Dec 17 (the last time any were created) are all assigned to Administrator anyway.

User ID = 1 is admin who is an active user so I don't think that's the issue.
I've sent the request for info logging to Sugar. I'll report back when its switched on.

We did the online session on Monday 25th. There were still issues at the end and I sent some more info over. I chased again by email to firstname.lastname@example.org on Thursday 28th but no reply. What is happening with this?

Thanks Chad. This one is a poor show from Sugar, I know its not your bug and I appreciate your very complete response.
The Ultimate features sound good but we've only got to upload this once so its most cost effective for me to just slog through it. Oh well!

Further to this our sugarchimp module now seems to be broken. When I go to Health Status in the admin panel I'm greeted with:
**_HTTP: 500 Internal Server Error
In SugarChimp Configuration I can get as far as validating the API key before it drops to the above error.
In field mapping it also drops to thye above 500 Internal Server Error.
We need some help over here, Sales are processing click through links but they also drop to the 500 error.View Comment

Hello again - I have been in contact with Maria at Rolustech and after a morning of testing, checking etc, she is now contacting you as she is of the opinion its a SugarChimp issue.......I am in the middle of this and feel like a tennis ball so if you dont mind, I will leave you to battle this all out and wait for someone to tell me its working!!! Hi, to answer your questions:
1 - many hours have passed and nothing is showing
2 - Yes - Target Lists have been updated and I have checked the parameters to make sure they are correct also
3 - Mailchimp Lists are correct also
4 - All the boxes are green - although under that 'Pending to Mailchimp' its saying 1 list - 564
I had this issue a few weeks back and Maria @ Rolustech did something and they suddenly appeared in Mailchimp!
I created a new list for someone else here to send out a mailer and the same issue has occurred......
I have just checked my target list and the leads tab and they have all disappeared so I am updating the list again - why would they suddenly disappear? Its all a bit odd....
