SugarCRM 7 is here. Well, sort of. For new customers who are On Demand at least. What this means is that the traffic light has turned from green to yellow and modules for SugarCRM 6.x need to start making progress towards 7.x compatibility. From our experiences with 7, there will be some hills to climb initially to figure out best practices for converting existing functionality to the new ways of doing things. Thankfully there are some great resources already available out there.

Much like most anyone, I spend a good deal of the day in my inbox. Whether it is doing my ABC routine (Always Be Closing) or doing my best to help someone out, there is always something bringing me back to Gmail. This means constant flipping between my Google Apps account and SugarCRM. It's tedious, painful, and just not any fun. There has to be a better way...

One Year Anniversary

We are a month late here, so please forgive us. What with the CRM Idol competition (see CRM Idol and Communication Our Vision), releasing some new functionality that allows our sellers to provide even better service to SugarCRM users, a complete redesign, and further refining our processes, time simply flew by. Stepping away from the race, let’s take a look at the first year since going live.
