#722 - SC_SugarModule (SC_SGRMOD) in Mailchimp - is that needed in the new version

Closed General Question created by TIA-Marketing 9 years ago

Hi

In the old version we had a custom field in Mailchimp called SC_SugarModule (SC_SGRMOD). Is this still needed? It seems that the field is empty after the latest update and there is also no mapping defined in the configuration. But what field should we map to, to get the list info (Contact/Lead/Target) sync'ed to Mailchimp?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, you are correct that the SC_SugarModule field is no longer used. It was from version 3 of the SugarChimp integration.

Is there a reason you need to know in MailChimp if a subscriber is a Contact/Lead/Target? If not, then you can ignore it.

If you do what that data in MailChimp, you could create a custom field on each module called 'module_type' and have it default to "Contact", "Target" and "Lead". Then you would map the module_type field to your SC_SugarModule field in SugarChimp.
