#4166 - Lists not syncing from Sugar to Mailchimp

Hi there,

I have 10 target lists in SugarCRM which is not being updated in Mailchimp. For example - Atreya Chaganty list in Sugar has 331 contacts but in mailchimp his audience is recording as only 162 contacts. Please advise what I can do urgently as I need to send an campaign out now.

    Hi Olivia,

    Thanks for reaching out. There may be some scenarios where the number count doesn't match between Sugar and Mailchimp. You can read more here: https://fanaticallabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021151512-My-CRM-and-Mailchimp-list-counts-do-not-match

    However, it does look like there is a large difference, which would be unexpected. Can you follow the steps below to troubleshoot further:

    1. Send a screenshot of your Health Status page to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com
    2. From the Health Status change, change the URL from /health-status to /adminbatches and then click Show along the left side for a few batches. If there are any batches that show a number after "Errored operations" can you click Download Link and send that file along to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com
    3. Finally, it looks like you're on an older version of SugarChimp. Can you update to the most recent version by following the steps below:

      Many thanks Heidi. I have emailed 1 and 2 to the email address given and I'm in the process of updating the sugarchimp updated version but Sugar is working very slow.

    Just wanted to follow up on this case. It looks like this issue was a result of syncing a calculated "days until birthday" field that failed with the birthday field is not set. To resolve this you can either remove the field from syncing, or fix the calculated field logic so that if birthdate is not set it does not fail. This should get the sync back up and running again.
