#1147 - lists from mailchimp do not sync

Hi,
I've just installed the sugarchimp connector in the professional trial version. Everything fits fine. But when I try to sync one of our mailchimp lists to sugar crm it doesn't work. The connection to mailchimp via API works, I can select lists and choose the target, it seems to work perfectly but at the end none of our mailchimp recipients are listed in sugar crm.

Can you please find out what's going wrong?

    Hi Angelina, I'm not showing on our side you were able to get it fully installed and setup.

    After you installed the module were you able to add the SugarOutfitters license key and successfully validate it? If you go to Admin > SugarChimp License Configuration you should be able to to do this. Until you're able to validate the license, nothing in SugarChimp will work.

    As for syncing from MailChimp to Sugar (if the license key is properly setup) it may take several minutes before all of your data comes over from MailChimp and is properly added to Sugar.

    Well the health status told me, that our licenese is not validated, but I've already pasted the validation code from my purchases to the licence configuration of sugarchimp a few times. I've also refreshed the licence key at my purchases.

    I thougt this information at the health status has to do with the trial. That's why I didn't told you earlier. Sorry for that.

    What shall I do next?

      Ok, got it. So things may have gotten a little out of whack depending on the order you reset the key and tried to validate, but that's no problem. Here's how to ensure the license is validated properly:

      1) Go to your SugarOutfitters orders page: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/members/angelinasokolowski/orders and copy the license key that is currently there.

      2) Go to Sugar, Admin > SugarChimp License Configuration and paste the key you just copied (make sure no spaces are added to either side.

      3) Then click "Validate". This should say it validated successfully or show you an error afterwards.

    I've copied and pasted the code. It's the same I tried before. Then I clicked the "validate" button, the colour of the button switched from blue to black and nothing else happened. I've neither an information about a successful validation nor an error. I've also refreshed the web browser via F5.

      I've now done the verification with the internet explorer, not Firefox. The health status is okay right now, but contacts aren't imported.

    Hi Angelina, sorry for the slow response on this. I'm able to replicate the Validation button not working in Firefox. We'll get that fixed.

    Now that you were able to get it to validate in Internet Explorer, did you go through the 4-step configuration wizard? In step 3 or 4 did you tell it to sync lists between Sugar and MailChimp?

    It usually takes 5-10 minutes before you start seeing contacts show up on the MailChimp side. Now that some time has passed, do you see any of your contacts from Sugar in MailChimp now?

      Hi, it just works. It took much longer than 10 Minutes but that has to do with sugar CRM. I've already called the CRMsupport. We can close this case now. Thanks a lot for your help.
