#501 - SugarChimp not compatible with sugar

Hello,

I'm trying to upload SugarChimp in SugarCRM system and got this alert: "The uploaded file is not compatible with this version of Sugar: 6.7.5."

Please assist ASAP!

Hi Hannah, sorry for the issue.

What the name of the package you're uploading? You'll want to make sure it's SugarChimp-7.0.1.zip

Are you using SugarCRM On-demand instance? Or do you host Sugar on-premise?

  I'm using SugarCRM on-demand, I believe. I made it past that initial alert and it is now saying:
  
  "Installation failed!
  
  The package you are attempting to install does not conform to the policies established within the Sugar Open Cloud or by your system administrator. Sugar Open Cloud customers must obtain a new package from the package provider that addresses the issues described below. If you are running Sugar locally, you can relax your Module Loader restrictions to allow the package to be installed."

  Ok, that's a good sign and something you can get around fairly easy.
  
  Sugar does not allow all add-ons to work in their On-demand environment. They require you to create a support case with them and they will install it for you. There is a pdf in the downloads section (where you found the SugarChimp packaged) that tells you exactly what you need to do.
  
  After going through those steps, let me know if you have any issues.

I had sent a case in last week but am now wondering if the file was attached. Okay, I'm hoping that this all works out. Thank you so much for your assistance!

  Gotcha, hopefully they'll get to it this time. It's a pretty straight-forward integration, so I'm not anticipating any installation issues (other than having to go through this process). We're working with Sugar to hopefully not have to go through this for On-demand customers.

Hi Hannah, we made some great progress tonight.

The latest version of SugarChimp no longer requires you to wait on Sugar Support to install SugarChimp for you. You can install it yourself.

Simply go to your orders and download SugarChimp 7.0.3 and give it a try.
