#946 - Attachment for Email Template not working

We have a user that we've recently moved from an Administrator to a 'normal' user, and when they compose an email using one of the templates they created the attachment isn't working. They can manually select the Document and attach it to the email, but it's not automatically attaching to the email like it used to. They created this Document themselves and it's still assigned to them.

In terms of what we've tested: - In the Group/Role that they are part of they have access to the Documents module - Logged in as them (as a non Admin) and created a new version of the doc and attached it to the template - Done a Quick Repair as well as a Repair Roles - Tested this template using an Admin user and the attachment works fine, so we're pretty sure it's something to do with how we've setup the Roles/Groups.

Any ideas?

    Hello Evan,

    My best guess is that the email template itself isn't associated to the user's group and the Email Templates rights are set to Group. Adding the group to the template may solve the issue.

    Also, does this work for other non-admins?

      Hey Jason, thanks for the reply.

      I think we've got it sorted. I remembered reading in one of your other responses that attachments are created as notes in Sugar - I re-checked this particular role and sure enough they didn't have access to the notes module. We fixed that up and it looks like its working OK.
