#3546 - Connecting to my SugarCRM - The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Closed Bug? created by aaronross 6 years ago

I was unable to successfully connect to my SugarCRM server, however if I browse to the the same URL and use the same credentials, I was able to get in.

I have tested the SugarCRM it is accessible publicly and it can ping cloud.grinmark.com

This is the error I received in the Test Connection phase

_Connection Failed

Connection Failed SugarInfo::Connect. AddIn version: GM.B.Sugar.Soap.SugarWrapperImplSoap:5.1.1.0 Connecting to https://crm.paessler.com/ as aaron.ross@paessler.com Error initializing connection: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel._

    Hi Aaron,

Your CRM server uses TLS1 .2 with SHA512 algorithm security certificate. This is not enabled on our server yet.

    Regards, Denis

Are you planning or when will you have this algorithm available?

    Hi Aaron,

At the moment we do not have specific plan for this. But it should happen within next few months.

    Hi Aaron,

Good news. We now support TLS 1 .2 with SHA512 certificates. So connection to your CRM server should work.

    Regards, Denis

It does, however there now appears to be a failed login attempt to my SugarCRM server

I have checked my login against the standard CRM login on the Webgui and it worked fine there. Any suggestions?

I will say so, as the credentials I use are inline with my AD credentials

    Hi Aaron,

I've set the AD flag. Could you reenter the CRM password and check?

    Regards, Denis
