#1671 - Removing activities from SugarCRM

Hi there

We are trialling RT GSync. Its good for my sales reps, but I synced up my calendar, & emails with my googleapps account - now I want to remove these out of my SugarCRM application (I personally dont want them in SugarCRM - but as I say, I know my sales guys will) How do I delete the items out of the SugarCRM emails & calendars - without removing them from GoogleApps?

    Hi Jason,

    Thank you for chossing RT GSync for your Team.

    So you want that calender events that are synced from your Google account to SugarCRM should be removed. They can be removed, but along with them , the Calender events that are synced from your SugarCRM to your Google account will also be removed (only which are synced from Sugar to Google for your user).

    For this, please follow following steps 1- First of all disable RT Gsync for your that Particular user from admin section in SugarCRM . You can find this section of "RT GSync" on Admin Settings screen in bottom. Move your particular user from enabled to disabled users list via drag and drop and save changed. 2- After doing step 1Then go to your user profile in SugarCRM and change your Gmail Id to a dummy one or clear it and click save. 3- After saving, all of the Calender events that are synced from Sugar to Google and Google to Sugar will be deleted from Google and SugarCRM respectively.

    Regarding emails, RT GSync does not sync emails but archive them. You will have to remove them manually from archive folder in SugarCRM emails module.
