SuiteCRM is the fork created from the opensource version of SugarCRM, version 6.x.
That version of the component can be found at https://store.suitecrm.com/addons/mail-merge-reports .
Alternatively, you can try one of the SugarCRM components with similar features to MMR, such as https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/addons/synogeneratedoc or https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/addons/docparser.

Just as there has been no support for SugarCRM 8, there are no plans at the moment to support SugarCRM 9.View Comment
MMR was supported with SugarCRM until version 7, and we are currently focusing on SuiteCRM support.

It seems that the Pod Mentor (Multiple) and Mentor Coach (Multiple) fields use some kind of customization to be able to appear as a single field (but multi-input) in the EditView. Are you using any component or special code for it?
SugarCRM does not allow this type of data entry.
For example, the Pod Mentor field, according to the image you sent, is of the relate type, so it is not possible for it to appear as a multiple field in EditView.
On the other hand, in the initial image you sent, there is a "CONCAT" field that chains the names of each of the Contacts in EditView for that field.
If there is some kind of customization for that field, being a special field, MMR will not be able to visualize it. You will need some code and use calculated fields in MMR to represent them. If you need it, look in the documentation about this type of code, and you also have examples in the file "custom/modules/Opportunities/DHA_DocumentTemplatesCalculatedFields.php".
If this is not so, send us a screenshot of the definition of that field in the Studio, and the relationship created for that field, also from the Studio.

Please, send us the template to review if there is some problems.
Probably this issue is caused by a malformed template.

It seems that in that module there can be multiple Contacts (not just one).
To list them you have to declare an additional block.
Check the example template provided with the component "Opportunities.docx" (which is also installed in the crm when installing the component).
In this template you can see how to list the Contacts of an Opportunity.
In the header of the template declare a new block (in your case you have to look for the name of the correct relationship with Contacts):View Comment
Then create a table, and in the first cell create the block, declaring what repetition it will have (in this example it is repeated for each line of the table):

We have just published version 2.5.13 that solves cache problems with template downloads.
In tests, the template was saved correctly when modified and uploaded again, but the browser downloaded a cached version of the template (this did not happen in all browsers).
It is possible that your problem was caused by this issue. Please update your installation with the new version to try it out.
To update the component, uninstall it by checking the "Do Not Remove Tables" option.
If it doesn't fix it, please send us the versions of SuiteCRM you are using to try to reproduce the problem.View Comment

We will investigate in the next version of the component if the display_errors parameter can be temporarily deactivated during the generation of the document, in case it is activated. Good news. If in the future you have problems with a document again, you can send it to us by private email so we can test it. The document should not use entities or customized fields, so that we can reproduce the problem (only standard entities such as Accounts or Opportunities).

We exported your “2. Word generated.docx” file from a Windows LibreOffice 184.108.40.206 and the result is better, please, find it attached. Maybe your 4.3.3 LibreOffice Works worse with that type of Word…. please, try to open the “2. Word generated.docx” file directly with your 4.3.3 LibreOffice, export to pdf and compare both. We recomend you to update your LibreOffice version.
And, also, we recomend you that, in order to improve the export a pdf, you can try to make your templates in .odt Libreoffice format instead Word format.
Finally, we can see that your .docx file was generated in Windows, but your CRM – LibreOffice are in Linux, so the Arial fonts used are not the same… You can try to install the Windows Fonts used in that Word file, specially the Arial font, into the Linux system and check if the results are better
