#2006 - Sugar Sequencing Add-on
Hello. We need a opportunity-number like 160310ab01 in which the first 6 numbers came from the actual date, the 2 letters are the username and the last number "01" is a sequential number which will be greater (+1) if a new opportunity will be create from a user. Is it possible to create this with your "CM & Sugar Sequencing Add-on"?

Hello, I am sorry to say so, but it is not possible. The sequence needs predefined values for creating an unique number. Using generic values such as current user_name wont work. However, if this would be a mandatory usecase for your current CRM, I could implement that logic for you through a simple customization.

Okay thank you, still 2 questions before oder: We use SuiteCRM Version 7.4.3, is it compatible? It is possible that the last numbers in out opportunity no. every day will reset to '01' for the first opportunity on actual day?

Suite shouldn't be any problem. Just the dropdowns have a different look & feel compared to Sugar itself.
Regarding the reset of daily numberings, I must tell you, it won't work that easy. If there is no chance of finding the maximum value within the table (which isn't because of the dynamic user_name), I would be forced to do it by PHP coding, which takes longer and is kind of inefficient, if you have a certain amount of records to inspect.

Hello. Sorry for delay. The management has not yet decided. They think about a solution between SuiteCRM workflow-engine and/or your add-in. I will come back to you if I have more information. Thank you very much
