#3022 - Will This Work With Latest SuiteCRM 7.8.2?

Closed General Question created by jeffc 7 years ago

I need the ability to restrict access of inbound emails to only users in certain groups. SuiteCRM comes with a version of SecuritySuite that has a setting option for "Inbound Email" to restrict access but I can't see a way to specify which groups have access to which inbound email accounts. Someone said you need to purchase this version of SecuritySUite to get that functionality. Is that true?

    Hi Jeff,

Yes, I just did a test run with both the version included in SecuritySuite and the paid version here. The Security Groups subpanel only shows up in the paid version. To enabling assigning groups to inbound email accounts go to Admin->SecuritySuite Settings, check the "Inbound email account" option, then save. Now go to Admin->Inbound Email and open and account. There will now be a Security Groups Management subpanel from which you can assign your groups that should only have access to the inbound email account.

    Hope this helps!
