The SQL may save me a little time, thanks. But none of the Accounts are assigned to Security Groups. I made the mistake of having a 1-to-1 relationship between accounts and cases. Each account has only one case. Going forward all the records for Group A are assigned to one account and all the records for Group B to another. The CRM is functioning as an internal case management system. Each customer only has one case so I figured out when I went to setup the Security Groups I just neede one account "bucket" for each group. I suppose I could first relate all the cases, contacts, etc to the new single account then that script would work "out of the box" and just change the module for each module I have records in. Thanks again!View Comment

I've currently got about 2,200 case records and each of those has about 10 tasks, 3 emails, 3 contacts, and 10 documents each. I don't see a way to see more than 20 records at a time. So I'm thinking my original plan to write a PHP script to create all the associated security group records is going to be way less cumbersome than trying to do it with the Mass Assign function in the CRM interface?View Comment

The setup is working fine for any newly created records now that we have the Security Groups and roles defined. Group A only sees records created by members in that Group and Group B only sees records created by users in Group B. Just to make sure I'm clear... the issue is once we put a user into Group A that was one of the original users creating records when we weren't using Security Groups, they can't see any of the old records because as intended we just want to Group A to see Group A's records. So I think need to use the mass assign to assign all the records old records that have no security group or user assigned to them to the new Group A so Group A can see all the old records but Group B cannot. Does that make sense? If not, maybe best to just give you login access and you can see for yourself?View Comment

The existing records would not be assigned to any security group as there were not groups defined when they were created (securitygroups_records table was empty.) So I guess I need to use the mass assign groups for all the records in all the modules to assign the existing records to the newly created group.View Comment

Sorry, meant to say, been using SuiteCRM for a couple years now, not SecuritySuite. We did not use any of the SecuritySuite features until now.View Comment

Your suggestions regarding upload size I think only pertain to upload of the .zip file and that is not the problem because all our settings are for 150M, and PHP INI memory_limit is 500M.
chmod -R 777 for cache and custom do not fix it either
Maybe should contact me for admin credentials to see for yourself?View Comment

Okay so I've spent 3 hours examining the install package and the manifest.php file, turned on debug logging level and looked at the huge log. I don't see anything obvious that indicates why the install is not completing properly and getting stuck on SmartLists. It appears all database tables are not being created such as smartlist or sugarchimp table. sugarchimp_activity_* are being created. My instinct is telling me that since this is a .0 version that was only released 5 days ago, I suspect the install has not been fully tested? I hope not as the first line of the Bio description for the SugarChimp company is "we are fanatical about creating easy to install" okay.... ?
This is not a good first experience for a product that I will end up paying almost $3,000 per year for! I will appreciate some assistance ASAP as I am working toward a short deadline for this project and the problem with the install of this product has put a "Monkey" wrench into my progress! Same problem. You know, it would be very helpful to all the rest of us if someone would follow up with the resolution. This would possibly allow some people to fix the issue themself and thereby reduce your support work.View Comment

Looking at the log MySQL error 1146: Table 'scrm.smartlist' doesn't exist
The fact this table isn't prefixed by SugarChimp* indicates to me it's not a SugarChimp table. However a Google search for 'SugarCRM Smartlist table' turns up nothing! So is SugarChimp Ultimate not compatible with SuiteCRM 7.5.3 (based on CE 6.5) ?!? I hope not as I've been beating my head against the wall based on the fact there is a SuiteCRM specific version of SugarChimp!View Comment

Ugh. Not so fast. Uninstall gets to 100% but last message is:
Could not locate installation record of upload/upgrades/module/SugarChimp-7.7.0-for-SuiteCRM.zip.
And module still appears as loaded module.View Comment

Just remembered PHP files sometimes only work on 755 permission. Reset SuiteCRM permissions to original recommendation and all is fine now.View Comment

The 'display log' function shows a log with not a very good level of detail making it's usefulness very limited. On the uninstall, the last line is:
Okay, what specific command failed?
On the install, it's a little better, last line is:
Failed to copy cache/upgrades/temp/NbDotk/icons custom/themes
Permissions on all folders from cache on down is 777View Comment

I set permissions on the cache folder to 777 and that stopped the errors. However, uninstall now only gets to 68%. Tried install and good there is initially no error but only gets to 29%View Comment
