      Hello,

That error will happen when there are file permission issues on the server. Basically when the zip was uploaded to the Module Loader it couldn't unzip the file on the server due to insufficient rights. Here are some docs and tools to help get that straightened out:

      http://support.sugarcrm.com/04_Find_Answers/02KB/02Administration/100Install/Required_File_System_Permissions_on_Linux http://support.sugarcrm.com/04_Find_Answers/02KB/02Administration/100Install/Setting_File_Permissions_and_Ownership_in_config.php http://www.shanedowling.com/sugarcrm-permissions-script/

Hello, i followed the instructions in the first two articles mentioned above and set the directory and files permission to 777 and 666. Logged off and then log back on to suitecrm, reran the module installer and got the same error at 17%. Is there any other workaround or suggestion? i was thinking if i unzip the file and upload to module directory, will that work? sort of like manual install? appreciate your help

That won't work since there are some install processes that have to be ran. It may be a permissions issue on the core folders then such as /data and /include. Try opening it up to 777 for the purpose of the install for everything and then scale it back right after install has completed.

Hello, i set the permission to every single directory and file to 777 thru filezilla and reran the install. It failed at 17% same like before with the same error. Failed to copy cache/upgrades/temp/QXy4Ww/install_dir/notupgradesafe/data/SugarBean.php to data/SugarBean.php

The other thing to check for is zip support in your PHP config so that the zip files can be unzipped correctly by Sugar. Make sure to test from the start each time meaning delete anything in Module Loader and then after opening up permissions re-upload and install again.

Wow, i enabled zip option on php and that did the trick and finally i am able to install. Can you kindly tell me now that its install which folder suppose to what permission since during troubleshooting i enabled 777 on pretty much everything, i dont want public deleting our stuff as i am deploying the crm in production. Appreciate your help and your guidance to help me finally get it installed.

Great! Refer back to the links I posted earlier for the proper permissions. Those are the guides I use for permissions.
