#97 - Installed custom module fix for CE6.1 but Custom Module not showing up in Access List

Closed Bug? created by lavery 11 years ago

I ran the custiom module fix on CE6.1 and it seemed to work for the most part. However th access tab on the user accounts do not show the custom module that i added security to in the list. Any ideas why this would happen? I can't assign group security to the module if it is not included in the list. Unless there is a different approach i should be taking with custom modules.

That's a SugarCRM thing. You need to go to Admin->Repair and run Repair Roles for the new module to show.

Nothing that I can think of would cause this except maybe a coding error. If you are using the old pdf for manually linking a custom module to Security Groups you have to hand code it. Do not copy/paste because it adds junk characters, spaces, etc. There will be errors in it. Also, is there any way that you can upgrade to a more recent version?
