Note This only affects about 2% of the installs that have chosen to use this very specific feature.
Due to changes with the new AjaxUI in Sugar some subpanels no longer trigger the popup select properly. This option is turned off by default so it should affect most installs.
To fix, a new Security Group dropdown field needs to be created so that it can be added to the quick create or edit screens (ideally create only). Also, add the ability to mark a group as the primary group for a user and select that group (or groups) by default in this new field.

The 2.6.0 release will have a new panel on the creation screen when the old "Use Popup Select" option is chosen. That option has now creatively been relabeled as "Use Creator Group Select". This means that anyone assigned to more than 1 group can choose group(s) to associate to the new record right from the creation screen.
