#1654 - New opportunity to inherit the security group of the assigned user
Dear Support,
I would like for new opportunities, and probably all objects, to inherit the security group of the user who created the opportunity. However, currently there is no default security group being assigned to my new opportunities at all.
How can I set that behaviour please?

Under Security Suite Settings on the Admin page there are a number of inheritance options. One of them is the Inherit from Created By User. This will work for all modules though and not just for Opportunities. Whenever a user creates a record their groups will automatically be assigned to the new record as long as that user's membership in the group is not marked as "Not Inheritable" (editable in the Users subpanel in a SecurityGroup). Make sure to uncheck "Use Creator Group Select" as that will conflict with this behavior.
