#3538 - Can't install to Sugar

Hi,

1) When I upload the zip file for Sugar 7 and then try to install it in Sugar's Module Loader (I am following your installation guide here: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/zendesk-sugarcrm/installation-guide) I use get a string of errors. Screenshot attached.

2) Separate questions - when I login in to Zendesk I have the option to install it as an app. Do I need to do this as well?

Sorry if these are stupid questions but I am learning about both Zendesk and Sugar.

      Hi Sara,

      Some browsers download the file incorrectly. Could you try a different browser such as Chrome and reattempt the install? The key is to make sure that zip file never gets altered during the download. Please let us know how that goes.

      For your other question, here is what is needed on the Zendesk side once the Sugar install is done:

      Installing in Zendesk

      Now that you have connected Zendesk and Sugar, the last step in the process is to add the Zendesk Sugar dashlet. The dashlet is available for the Contact, Lead, Account and Opportunity record views.

      1. Navigate to the record of one of the following modules: Accounts, Contacts, Leads, or Opportunities.
      2. In the top right corner, click the edit button to edit the current dashboard.
      3. Scroll to the bottom of the dashboard and click Add a Row > Add a Dashlet. A list of available dashlets appears.
      4. Find the "Fanatical Zendesk" dashlet and click Select and edit.
      5. Click Save to save your filters.
      6. Click Save one more time to save the dashlet to the dashboard.

      You can repeat this for the other modules' dashboards.

    Hi, thanks for this - downloading the files in Chrome rather than safari fixed the problem. However... I now have it installed and have connected to ZenDesk successfully, but when I follow the instructions to add the Sugar Dashlet to a dashboard the Zendesk dashlet is not visible in the list. I've tried logging on and out, alternative browsers, creating new dashboards etc etc but still can't see it in the list. Can you assist? Thank you.

      Hi Sara, glad you were able to get it installed.

      To add the dashlet, you must be on a specific Contact record or Account record. The dashlet is available only on the record views. For example, click on the Contacts module, go to a specific contact record and see if you can add the dashlet on that page.
