#2417 - Also cant see Sugar contacts in Zendesk

Hi,

I am unable to view Sugar contacts in the Zendesk application. This feature was originally working although I'm not sure when it 'failed'. I am confident the login details are correct. What can I do to debug the problem ?

The Sugar application is hosted so it is possible something has changed on the Sugar side (firewall?).

I am able to view Zendesk tickets in Sugar.

    Hi Kevin, I think all you need to do is update the Sugar side of the integration. There was a new version of our Zendesk integration that was released (on the Zendesk side) which you would have been automatically upgraded to in Zendesk. You will now need to install the latest Sugar package so that it can properly communicate with Zendesk. After doing this, the Zendesk side should be able to display the Sugar contacts.

    You can find the latest package on your orders page here: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/orders

    Download the package, go to Sugar > Admin > Module Loader and upload and install the new package (do not uninstall the old package). Be sure to go to Step 3 of the configuration steps and click the "connect to Zendesk" button to re-establish the connection.

      Hi Kevin, no worries, thanks for the info.

      I just want to be sure, did you download and install the latest package that is on your orders page: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/orders

      A couple things to try:

      1) Please try reinstalling the module again. Sometimes Sugar can be weird and installation will fails sometimes and other times it will not. Let me know if you get stuck at the same spot.

      2) Please email me a copy of your SugarCRM log file. Send it to support@sugaroutfitters.com. You can find the log fie if you go to Sugar > Admin > System Settings, scroll to the bottom and click view log, then click "All". Please send me everything that is on the page.

    I've tried quite a few times and install continues to stop at the same page.

      That's really strange. It looks like there is an error somewhere else in the module installing process and not necessarily our package that is being installed.

    I wanted to followup on this case. It looks like the error was related to an ElasticSearch issue on this particular Sugar instance.
