#4531 - New group in Mailchimp - only partially syncing with Sugar records

Closed Bug? created by nigel Verified Purchase 2 years ago

I've recently added another group to our mailchimp list, connecting an existing dropdown in our Sugar instance so we have another filter to choose from in Mailchimp. I created the group in Mailchimp and made sure each entry was an exact match with the relevant dropdown list in Sugar. I then did the field mapping in Sugar and got the Sugar records to sync with Mailchimp (Sugar is the master record). It all seemed to work as expected (I have successfully done this in the past) but weirdly, it seems to have only synced with a portion of the records, around 1800 of the 3500+ records. I tried a full sync but no change, still only about half the records have successfully updated.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Happy to help. Let's take a look at the errors we're getting from Mailchimp. The steps for this are below:

    1. From within Sugar Admin, navigate to SugarChimp's Health Status page
    2. Change the /health-status portion of the URL to /adminbatches
    3. Click Show along the left hand side and see if you have any errored operations
    4. For any errors, click Download Link and send the file that downloads to us at mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com

Let me know if you need any help with this process.

    Best,. Heidi

    Hi Nigel,

I wanted to check back in. I hadn't gotten these files yet. I'm sending you an email- can you try replying to that email to see if it works?

    Thanks, Heidi

    Hi Nigel,

Just noticed this case was still open even though we resolved the issue through email. Just going to close this one out but feel free to reach back out at mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com if you have any further trouble.

    Best, Heidi
