#3417 - When sugaroutfitters is unreachable, SugarChimp keeps polling it, producing FATAL logs and provoking bad performances
I encounter some trouble with SugarChimp : I installed it on my customer's server which is behind a proxy (configured properly), and currently this proxy does not allow us to reach sugaroutfitters to validate the license, nor mailchimp. This should be fixed very soon, my customer's IT team is working on it, but in the meantime, we encounter very bad performances with SugarCRM.
It seems that SugarChimp is trying to reach sugaroutfitters over and over (hundreds of calls per minute), and generates FATAL logs to each failure. Along with this, the whole SugarCRM instance became very slow, especially on write operations (modifying or creating records of any type). Most of those operations end up with a timeout, making the whole application unusable.
I had to disable SugarChimp until the proxy configuration is fixed, but this kind of situation could happen again, and we cannot afford to disable/enable and reconfigure SugarChimp each time there is a network issue of any type...
