#4472 - Problem after install, all except sys admin´s unable to create records

Hi,

I´ve setup my Roles as follows:

  • Group Admins - Able to do anything within their groups
  • Users - Only able to use what is assigned to them
  • Power Admins - Able to do anything, no group assigned

Problem, none are able to create any records on any modules, the only person still able to create a record is me as User Type "System Administrator", all others are "General Users"

Also, I dont have Sudo Login ("Login As") function

This problem has only started since installing SecuritySuite, before then roles worked as they were supposed to

Must be missing a setting, somewhere any ideas? Lee

    Hi Lee,

    Be sure to run the following steps after installing SecuritySuite or upon any upgrades. This will resolve the not being able to create records issue:

    • Admin -> Repair -> Quick Repair & Rebuild (execute any generated SQL)
    • Admin -> Repair -> Rebuild Relationships
    • Admin -> Repair -> Repair Roles

    You should be good to go after that.

    Hi, thank you for your response, I ran the repairs which seems to have resolved the issues for users being able to create records, however the "login as" is still not working, any thoughts? Thanks again.

      A few questions to help pinpoint this issue:

      • What other add-ons do you have currently installed in Module Loader?

      • Do you have SuiteCRM or SugarCRM installed and which version?

      • Do you have a theme installed and if so, which theme?
