#3547 - Shared Calendar - Hide Restricted
Hi, I just installed Security Suite 3.1.3 on SuiteCRM 7.9.7.
Even the Shared Calendar - Hide Restricted option is checked, but the user still see other's tasks he not supposed to see, I am quite sure the role is setup correctly, as under "Task" page, he only see him task. Any advice on this?

I tried to recreate the issue and tasks are only showing for a user with Hide Restricted enabled if the task is either assigned to the user or the user's group is assigned to the task. Can you check to see if a group of the user is assigned to the task?

Best way to double check a user's rights is to go to the User record and click on the Access tab. This is a summation of any roles that the user has assigned either directly or through a group that a user is in. This may shed some light on why that user is seeing a task that they shouldn't.

I see what you are seeing as well. After digging into the code that controls that it looks to be a bug in the core SuiteCRM code. I'm working on a fix to submit both to the SuiteCRM project and to include in the SecuritySuite edition available here until that bug fix is included in the core code. I will report back here when a fix is available.
Thank you!

Dear team,
I just found out that the Sugar Outfitter just billed me on SecuritySuite for $330/year. But as you know this function is not working for me yet... can you do a refund and I will do the uninstall, or unless you have a solution to make it work.

Hello. That's not a bill yet, but a notice that your subscription will convert in 3 days. I would extend your trial here, but PayPal won't allow that. To avoid any charges for now I canceled the existing trial instead. Please feel free to start a new trial whenever you would like.
To clarify, this issue here isn't SecuritySuite related. It's a bug in SuiteCRM itself. I'm looking at how to best address this and get a fix into the core SuiteCRM product.

I take that back. PayPal did charge, but did not notify us. I refunded the charge as well.

Dear team, I really appreciate your fast response on this.
This functions is useful, and I need this functions. Do update here once you found a solution - I guess other people will be facing this as well since it is a bug from SuiteCRM. I will definitely purchase this product once it is solve as nothing similar I can found.
