#2433 - Error: Key does not exist.

Dear all,

we are using SuigarCE 6.5.17. and have the SecuritySuite Module installed for quite some time now. Regarding some security issues, we decided to secure our server with VPN, The old licende key was discarded and we bought a new one (like 2 hours ago).

When we try to validate the key, there is the error: key does not exist. First we thought there may be no connection to your server, but when I try to validate the old one i get the error: Failed: Subscription was cancelled. Please purchase a new licence on SugarOutfitters to continue usage.

Any ideas?

    Can you make sure that the new key does not have any extra spaces at the beginning or the end? Since you are able to get that message with the old key you should be good to go. I will email you the correct key directly to be sure.

    Also, do install SecuritySuite again. The old version may have been a different plan.

    The SecuritySuite Version is actually version 2.7.4 (installed June 2014) so I guess this might be the problem. Can we just install a newer version and use the old options?

      The 2.7.4 version will be fine. The bigger issue is that there is a monthly and a yearly plan. The older versions required installing the package from the correct plan. To resolve your issue, just find the 6.5.17 package in your downloads from the trial that was just started. All of your settings will remain.
