#1225 - Common Calendar

Closed Feature created by Lion Solution Verified Purchase 9 years ago

Hi Jason, do you think it is possible in Shared Calendar to let all users see a common Calendar? I tried to achieve that creating a user, named Service, and i thought that everyone that wants to make public an activity, assign it to the Service User. I think this is easier than to assign the activity to all users .

What do you think about it?

PS: I set "Filter User List" in my Securiry Groups Settings http://s9.postimg.org/na89j30jj/Screen_Shot074.jpg

That may work. Then add Service User to all the groups so that users can add it to their shared calendar?

Other alternative is to alter the Calendar code to just show activity if you have a public flag turned on for a record. Would require core code changes to do though.
