#1099 - SecuritySuite is no longer active error message

Closed Bug? created by andreskruse Verified Purchase 4 years ago

Hi, since this morning we've been getting an error message on our CRMs “SecuritySuite is no longer active due to the following reason: SugarOutfitters_API::call(): Unable to validate the license key. Please configure the firewall to allow requests to https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/api/v1/key/validate and make sure that SSL certs are up to date on the server. Group rights have been temporarily dropped to Owner rights".

I tried validating the license key from license configuration and it comes up with this message "Error: SugarOutfitters_API::call(): Unable to validate the license key. Please configure the firewall to allow requests to https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/api/v1/key/validate and make sure that SSL certs are up to date on the server."

Our firewall settings have not recently been changed and our SSL certificates are up to date so I'm not quite sure what the problem is.

I'm seeing Jan 12th as the last time it was able to connect. It looks like it can't connect to sugaroutfitters.com anymore. Can you double check that? A ping from the server should help determine if that's the issue. Have you moved servers or had any changes to it such as PHP versions, Apache upgrades, etc?

Hi, it pinged successfully to sugaroutfitters.com and there has been no changes or upgrades recently.

It looks like your server still isn't reaching the license server. Something must have changed in the past 2 weeks. All other licenses are validating on the license server.

Could an old, bad request be cached? Try clearing both the browser cache and restarting Apache. Then manually validate the license.

What version of SugarCRM are you on? If it's pre-6.5.18 you may have an issue with the SSL certs on the server which would require updating them. More info here:

      Hi Jason,
I just don't understand why its not working. Is there any way that you could log in and take a look? If you tell me your mobile phone number I'll send you log in details for the machine...
      Thanks,
      Andres
