#216 - Solution possible?

Closed Feature created by andreas.epping 8 years ago

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to create a PDF report with all the hours that several employees worked on several projects of a customer. For that, I would like to slect a customer and the report should select all projects of the customer in a certain state and all time entries on these projects in a certain state. As I read in your documentation this could possibly be done with the premium edition. The navigation is customer->project->time record. Is it possible to do a logical clause on time records (e.g. all time records from month august)? So which edition do I buy, if I buy the Mail Merge Reports here? Thanks for your help. Kind regards

Andreas

    Dear Andreas,

Yes, that could be done with the premium edition... It is true that It requires an advanced use of the component, through calculated fields and data filtering. Please note that the definition of calculated fields and data filtering is done by code (see an example of calculated fields in "custom/modules/Opportunities/DHA_DocumentTemplatesCalculatedFields.php").

The version you should buy is the version that corresponds to you Sugar Community version (note that the component currently only serves for the Community version of Sugar). For example, if you are using Sugar 6.5, you should buy the file "MailMergeReports-Premium-v1.1.13-Sugar_6.5.zip"

Please, let us know if you need any help
