#3089 - Target field using Case Module - Missing Status

Currently, if I try to create a Kanban based on case tickets I am only given the opportunity to select three Target field options ( type, priority and State). This is not good if you would like to have columns based on the status of the case (State is just open or closed). Is there any plan to add additional target fields? Is there a way I can manually configure it?

    Richard,
    Only dropdown option can be Target fields. Any dropdown option can be selected as Target field.

    If your field "Status" is dropdown option and you can't choose as Target field in Kanban setting, then please send us screenshot with Cases Kanban setting and with Edit View of Cases.

    The Status field is an out-of-box dropdown in suitecrm for cases.

      Hi Richard,

      The problem is that Status is DYNAMIC dropdown unlike 3 others ordinary dropdowns.

      Status has parent field - State. It means you can set only some Status for each State value.

      We have to decide what to do when user drags and drops to Status that can be set for current Case card State. I guess we will choose the way, when we undo drag and drop for such cases and show error message.

      I expect that before the end of May we will publish updated version that supports DYNAMIC dropdowns
