#3088 - Q: Is it possible to change the context menu for opps to include creating a Case?

I would like to be able to create a Case directly from an Opportunity. Is it possible to add cases to the context menu?

    Seems this question was mentioned in issue #2941

    If I understood correctly, the context menu cannot be configured. This is a pity as it's critical for my organization to be able to generate Cases from the Kanban.

    As far as I understand you just need extra option exactly on Opportunities Kanban View - "Create Case".
    When you choose this option on specific opportunity, you should get pop-up window with Create New Case Form.

    I guess some fields on Create New Case From should be autofilled with some values.
    Please clarfiy what fields you want to autofill on opening form.

    By default module Cases can be related only to module Account. Did you make cusomization and add direct relation between Opportunities and Cases?
    Or do you want to set the same account in in creating cases as in opportunity you clicked on?

    Yeah, unfortunately I do not have more money to spend. I cannot afford custom development.

    I just think there should be more logic in the Kanban plugin - the plugin should basically be checking the module relationships and provide an option in the context menu for those related modules (in this example, the cases are related to the opportunities in our environment).
