#3087 - Cannot Create a Kanban - Blank Screen

Closed Bug? created by richardmezger 3 years ago

Hi, We just purchased the plugin. It installed without issue but whenever I try to create a kanban (or even if I try to change the target module) the screen just reloads and is blank.

SuiteCRM version:
Version 7.8.3
Sugar Version 6.5.24 (Build 509)

Plugin version:
kanban-SuiteCRM-7.8+_Mar9.zip

    I just went into the repair tool and did a quick repair... I see this error:

    /* Table : kanban /
    /
    MISSING TABLE: kanban */
    CREATE TABLE kanban (id char(36) NOT NULL ,name varchar(255) NULL ,date_entered datetime NULL ,date_modified datetime NULL ,modified_user_id char(36) NULL ,created_by char(36) NULL ,description text NULL ,deleted bool DEFAULT '0' NULL ,assigned_user_id char(36) NULL ,self_name varchar(255) NULL ,type varchar(255) NULL ,target_module varchar(255) NULL ,target_field varchar(255) NULL ,target_values text NULL ,target_close_values text NULL ,header_fields text(255) NULL ,body_fields text NULL ,summing_fields varchar(255) NULL ,order_fields varchar(255) NULL ,order_by varchar(255) NULL ,saved_search varchar(255) NULL ,cards_limit int DEFAULT '50' NULL , PRIMARY KEY (id)) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;

    I would assume that the tables are created when installing the plugin. Is this not the case?

    Nevermind I saw the button at the end of the script to run it. It works now. HOWEVER, this should have been done on install. To me this is a bug.

      Hi Richard,
      Rebuild tables in DB performs automatically on module install.
      If it did not happen in your case, then the only way to find the reason is to debug exacntly your instance.

      Did you install another modules or did you make any changes in CRM sources?

      Nope no other module and no modification of sources.

      One I ran the script it created the tables. Feel free to close this issue.
