A complete SugarCRM and DocuSign integration which allows us to quickly pull data from SugarCRM modules like Account, Contact, Lead, Prospect, User, Quote and Contract and then send them out for signature directly from SugarCRM. The signed document's fields are then returned to SugarCRM and attached to the corresponding SugarCRM records. The signed documents are returned to SugarCRM and attached to the document envelope.

#4642 - Mail sent only with the Mapping fields, the other fields like FullName and Signature did not appear in the Document

Closed Bug? created by LaabidiZ 2 years ago

after installing on the Sugar 11.0.2 version, eine Test Version in Developer DocuSign is created. a DocuSign template is created with the fields changed in DataLabel. in Sugar the templates von DocuSign are fetched . I created a DocuSign Mapping in Sugar (CRM_TO_DocuSign and DocuSign_To_CRM) with the appropriate field I created a DocuSign Bean by choosing the appoopriate Template and the appropriate mapping, I also choose contact1 from the Contact Module and Contact2 from the User Module. at the end the Contact1 of the Sugar receives Email only with the fields which are in the mapping, for example the Signature and the FullName and Date_Signature is not found. and if I add both contacts in the Template, then two Emails will be sent (one for Sugar contact1 which only contains the mapping fields and another for DocuSign contact1 which has nothing to do with the Sugar mapping.)

    Hi,

I do not clearly understand your use case. I assume that you are sending the DocuSign templates from CRM. And the docusign template has 2 roles. - Participant1 - Participant2 On the DocuSign template you will have the Signature box kept for both the Roles(Participants) Then on CRM you will do the mapping, for that docusign template. Contact = Participant1 User = Particpant2 Then when you send the Docusign template from CRM, the values from CRM for contacts will be parsed and the Contact will receive an email for doing signature. Once that signer signs, The second Signer, which is User(Participant2) will receive the email for signature. He will sign as well. And that completes the Process.

Please let me know if I have understood something else. You can reach us over skype: urdhvatech or email: contact@urdhva-tech.com

Thanks & Regards, Team Urdhva Tech

Thanks for the quick response, in DocuSign when creating the Template, fields can only be placed if the Template contains a Recipent. once the Template is created, then in Sugar I made a mapping of this template created. the DocuSign is created in Sugar, using this created Template . and to send it I need to select the contact "Sugar-Paricipant1", once the Document is sent, this contact receives the document only with the Fields that are in the mapping. for example the template contains 7 fields (first name, last name, street, country, Fullname, date Signature, Signature), only 4 of these fields are in the Mapping (first name, last name, street, country) and the rest are not even placed in the document then the document sent only contains the 4 fields that are in the mapping. i.e.contact cannot sign because the Signature field is not in. the problem if I send a Template from Sugar using the Mapping, the sent document only contains the fields that are in the Mapping, the others like Fullname, DateSignature and Signature do not even turn into the document.

      Thanks & Regards

You have to put the DateSigned, Signature box on the DocuSign template.

    Hello,

I think I have understood your case for sending the DocuSign Template. Please remove the Recipient Name and Email from the Role while creating the DocuSign Template in DocuSign. The Recipient will be dynamically added from the CRM and it will ask for the signature of that contact. I have attached the screenshot for your reference.

    DocuSign Template Role

Thanks & Regards, Team Urdhva Tech.

      1. if I do not add a recipent in the template created in DocuSign, we will not be able to place the fields in the template (such as first name, last name, Fullname, DateSignature and Signature).

      2. and if I have no fields in the Template, then I cannot do a Mapping between the Template and Sugar, according to the "UT_DSFieldMapping" Module.

The attached image shows that if I place no recipients in the DocuSign Template, and I choose "Send DocuSign Template" then I will get an error. and if I choose "send External File", then I cannot do a Mapping between the Sugar fields and the Document. because I can in the end that the fields "Firstname" and "Lastname" of the Document will be filled from Sugar.

My goal is to create a Template in DocuSign and to choose one Recipient from Sugar and to choose the Mapping that tightens me to place the Sugar Fields in the fields of the template created in DocuSign. and then send it from Sugar
