DocParser creates PDF or MS Word documents based on any record and it's related data. DocParser can be used to merge information from any module into a presentation-quality document and create an MS Word and PDF documents. The parsed document can be downloaded from both the List view and Detail view.
#4248 - Modules with Relationships Not an Option
I have installed DocParser but can't add fields from related modules that we custom created in our Sugar Instance. How do I add additional modules? This doesn't seem to be an option at all and our DocParser instance looks very different than that shown in the documentation.

I was able to figure out the relationship with custom modules, however I am having issues formatting the tables to be more custom. If I change the structure of the table at all, the fields stop pulling in properly. Am I not able to create a multi-row table?

Hello Lauren,
You should be able to add the custom fields from the related modules. Looking at your description I believe the files on the system would have incorrect permission and ownership. Can you please verify and change the file permission and ownership?
You can change the CSS or styling of formating the tables. The table has some unique ids and relationship ids, which if you change the data may not get placed correctly. In most of the case it should not be an issue if you do not touch those ids and hidden elements. Please note that the fields stopped pulling the data could be because you might have had some empty spaces in the variable name or something. Kindly check the HTML code, it will help you know if there are any empty spaces in the variables.
