#764 - Sequence add on didn't stay the same number when edited.
Hi,
I bought the sequence add on from you guy a month ago. When I create a new Contact in the Contact Module I have a Contact Number field to be auto generated read only field like CN000001 and save. it's working fine, but I did not realize that until when I go back to the same Contact and edit some information the Contact Number field changing from CN000001 to CN000002 by itself. It did not stay the same only happened when I edit the Contact. Please I am looking forward to your help to resolve this issue. Thanks

This error message originates from line 134 in Sequences.php of the Sequences package.

I will need a session again, because it is a MSSQL issue. It can't handle negative values at the native function. Guess, this is also the reason for your other problem of the changing numbers. You can leave me an E-Mail with the session paramters. However, it is quite late, I can't do it right now.

Hi Roger,
I have a duplicate sequence on my contact number. The sequence should auto-increment from the last number like CN029420 and so on when I initial fill all the contact number. When I start create the new contact the contact number auto-generate this CN000008. Even though this CN000008 is already assign to existing contact. Please can you remote in and take a quick look. I’m available all day. Thanks
