#1378 - SuiteCRM? Auto-Increment field feature questions, sequencing, etc
Hello,
I found this Add-on through the SuiteCRM extension website and would like to ask whether is this Add-on compatible with SuiteCRM 7.2? I assumed it is because I found it on SuiteCRM's website but I wanted to ask the developers here because it's not listed in the "Compatibility" page.
Also, can this add-on create prefixes based on country codes?
Example: Records with "United States" in it's country field would have a auto-incremented prefix of "USA-001, USA-002" and records with "Japan" would have "JPN-001, JPN-002".

Hello,
we got already feedback, it is working on Suite. However, it is not developed for Suite itself. We just know, there is a dropdown field issue by Suite, since they changed the whole filed handling. As long as your Suite version bases on Sugar 6.5, there shouldn't be any problem.
Regarding your special country codes: That feature is not possible! Just as an example, a new record should have an already filled sequenced field, but at this moment it is not clear, if the record will belong to USA or JPN. Anyway, I could add you a simple customizations just for your special use-case and it will work as intended. This individual change would be charged extra and I will need few more information such as field name and business logic (update the field after saving the new record).

Does this add-on work for Suite 7.7 ? also what all features is it going to have? Like auto-increment, calculated field etc.

As mentioned last year, it is supposed to work at Suite 7.7, However, be aware of your country code pre selection, which isnt possible that easily. Without that feature you shouldnt face any problem!
