We have an Sugar Pro cloud installation and received a health failure from Sugar for the upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2 that the module is not compatible with next release

Hi just top confirm, after removin and installing this new module, I will not loose previous information: configuration,, users with phones asigned, log of made calls? is this correct, or some of this infomation will be lost?

Unfortunately, the call log and user settings will be reset - when reinstalling the module, the tables storing this information is re-created. You can save the data by making a backup of the aoic_UserPhoneNumbers and phonecalls tables, and after installation, deploy them back. We will check the documentation, maybe there was a way to save data when installing the module, but before it was not there.

There is a way to install the module without data loss. For this we have prepared a special module. You can download it from this link: http://office.vedisoft.ru/files/sugar-8.x-CISCO_2019-12-13.zip
The installation process is as follows: 1. go to module loader. 2. Disable old module. 3. Upload new module. 4. Install new module. The old module will be replaced automatically.
It is important to understand that the new version of the module will work correctly only on the sugarcrm 9. We recommend, just in case, to make a backup of PhoneCalls and UserPhones module entries.

This information should be saved in CRM settings. The key to your old module will work for the new one, but just in case, copy it.
