#3690 - Syncing has stopped working

The sync doesn't appear to be working anymore. When I go into https://cloud.grinmark.com/aesync/ it says that everything is working ok when I test the connections.

The license page on Sugar does not load either so it might have something to do with that. I tried a quick repair, unloading and reloading the module, using version 1.9.7 and 1.9.6 still the same problem.

    Yes, test user connections says: GMSyncAddon module is not installed in CRM system. Something happened on Sugar side that prevents the module from loading. Did you do any upgrades or installation of other modules recently? Maybe sugarcrm.log contains any clues.

      We are on Sugarondemand so we don't upgrade the system sugar does. I don't believe the next update is for some time.

      No new modules or changes recently, the only thing that did happen and this is when it broke was my email account password expired and I changed it to be a generic one, I tried changing it back today but that didn't work. However those changes were made in GMsync not sugar.

      Is there anew version of GMSync as the one we have is 1.9.7 which was emailed to me after 1.9.6 didn't work. I can't seem to find any download links for later versions.

      The log says [32087][-none-][CRITICAL] InputValidation: [REQUEST] module -> Invalid module GMSyncAddon

    We've discovered that Sugar broke some old APIs, this is why the plugin is not loaded. We are working on a fix. I'll keep you updated.

    We now have response from Sugar:

    The issue you are experiencing has been documented as a bug ( https://portal.sugarondemand.com/#supp_Bugs/80813  ) that we are working to address in a future release of Sugar.  Please use the above link anytime for a real-time status update.

    This bug was introduced in Sugar 18 Spring Release. Until they will fix the bug we likely have no chances to restore synchronization. Not sure but may be Sugar can downgrade your instance to a previous release?

    We updated our module: https://gmdownlods.s3.amazonaws.com/aesync/aesync@outfitters2.2.1.zip

    And it seems that Sugar fixed the issue on their side as well. So it makes sense to try.
