Is there a way to convert the country name into a 3 digit country code? Our process / accounting software requires 3 digit country codes. I am wonder if we could write a calculated field to do the conversion based on the country name? What would your thoughts be?

Yes we can do by creating an extra field which will store the 3 letter country code calculated from the full country name.That way it will work better.
