#976 - Pending to SugarChimp

Closed Bug? created by VisualReporting 9 years ago

Given I am a SugarCRM administrator
When I look at the MailChimp health overview
Then I have 1 list pending with 301 entries for now a month

What can I do to make it sync?

    Hello,

Try forcing a re-sync first. Directions for how to do this can be found here:

    https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/SugarChimp/force-a-list-re-sync

If that doesn't help there may be an issue with something such as setting up the webhook on the MailChimp side. If you could then send us a screenshot of the health status page and your sugarcrm.log to support@sugarchimp.com we should be able to get a better idea of what is going on.

    Thanks!

Did forcing a resync do the trick? Are you still having issues?

    Thanks!

The resync did not do the trick - it increased the numbers and then went back. Its like its a stuck list. How can I see which list it has problems syncing? I cant find any list with that amount of contacts. Screenshot and log sent.

Got it, thanks. I gave things a look, and it seems to me the records in the queue are artifacts of an old sync that never cleared out.

You can see which MailChimp list they were intended to sync to by looking at the sugarchimp table and the mailchimp_list_id will show you the MailChimp list ID. You can match that on the MailChimp side to which list they were suppose to go to. You can also see in the param1 and param2 fields which Sugar record was attempting to be sent.

If you resynced the list and the number went up then processed back down to 301, that means the list you resynced was synced successfully. So it is safe to delete the records in the sugarchimp table to clear out your queue.

      Thanks!

Then I just need help to enable your connector. I tried to enable it - but its not showing up at the contacts - there is no small Sugar connector. Am I doing something wrong here?

If you've already enabled the Connector in Admin > Connectors > Enable Connectors for the Contacts module and the MailChimp icon is not showing up when you go to a Contact, make sure your Connector Field Mapping is properly mapped.

Go to Admin > Connectors > Map Connector Fields, click the MailChimp Activities tab. Make sure the field that you select from the dropdown is present on your Contact's DetailView and click save. Now if you go to a Contact, the icon should be next to the field you selected.

      Thanks!
