#432 - Lists Won't Sync or Webhook Details are wrong

Hello, I've downloaded and installed the latest version of SugarChimp on a staging server version of our SugarCRM Professsional Installation. All works well on that side.

I think I'm having trouble with the web hook. For some reason the web hook URL shows our live instance URL. I can of course change the webhook URL to match that of the staging server and MailChimp recognises it and says all is fine.

I've created a target list, however there doesn't seem to be any syncronisation. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi there, thank you for trying out SugarChimp!

    On the webhook issue, my guess is that in your config.php or config_override.php the site_url is set to that same url as your production server. But since you manually changed it, everything should be good there.

    When you created your Target List, did you select a Mailchimp List to sync it to? If not, you can edit your Target List in Sugar and select from the dropdown a Mailchimp List to sync it to. If you haven't already, you'll need to create a List in Mailchimp.

    Have you added any Contacts, Leads or Targets to your Target List in Sugar?

    Once you have select a Mailchimp List to sync your Target List with and you've added people to the list, they will start syncing to Mailchimp.

      Hi and thanks for replying.

      Yes I've done all of that in terms of creating the target list and selecting the MailChimp List. MailChimp accepts the staging webhook url (fyi I also had to add https as opposed to http). I added a contact to the MailChimp to test, and also two contacts to Sugar to test the syncronisation. Still nothing.

      Do you have any other ideas as to why it wouldn't be syncing?

      How long has it been since you added the contacts on either side? The sync won't be instant. It won't go through until the next scheduler is set to run. Are they still not synced over?

      Also, would you please provide an order number or the username that purchased SugarChimp? I'll be able to rule out any license issues that are in the way.

      Lastly, what version and edition of Sugar are you using? Is it an on-site or on-demand instance?

      Hi it has been over a week as I haven't been able to get back to looking into it. Details from the receipt are - Order #: 1407

      The version of Sugar is Version 6.5.14 (Build 1055) and it is an on-demand service I believe. That is we aren't hosting it.

      I've set the schedulers to active just this morning which I thought may be the issue however unfortunately it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

    The latest version of SugarChimp has been rewritten from the ground up and solves all of these issues. It only takes about 5 minutes to setup. Do you have a few minutes to walk you through the changes?
