#3835 - SugarCRM sync to Mailchimp with Double opt in

Closed General Question created by antonio_quintino 6 months ago

Hi,

I have a client that uses SugarChimp to sync between their SugarCRM and Mailchimp lists. Is there any way to setup sugarchimp so that the contacts added from sugar to mailchimp trigger a double opt in confirmation mail on mailchimp? I already activated the double opt in in the mailchimp's list where sugar contacts are added, but it doesn't seem to work...

Thanks
António

    Hello Antonio,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, with the way our integration works, there's no way to configure double opt-in with the sync of Sugar records to MailChimp.

In general, how are records added to the crm that get pushed to MailChimp? If you need the double opt-in process, you can have records get added to MailChimp, and synced back to SugarCRM via the integration. Let me know how you would like this to work.

    Thanks,
    Jon

  • "We do a lot of highly-segmented outbound marketing and SugarChimp is exactly what we needed. The list and field syncing are great, and it allows us to do more sophisticated campaigns that exactly target certain Lead profiles in Sugar. The SugarChimp team is also really great, and they are totally committed to our success."
