#3458 - Subpanel Mailchimp activities

Dear support team,

We need to have a subpannel on contacts and accounts with the mailchimp activities. I saw the tab "Mailchimp activities" and I can display it but i can't do the same with the sub panel. I also saw the dashlets but that do not respond our need, we do not use the dashlets on the mobile app and the sales spend 70% of their time on their smartphone. Could you please help me ?

Hello, thanks for asking about this.

I can see how the subpanel can be used on mobile in lieu of the dashlet. When you refer to the mobile app, is your sales team using the web-based mobile app? The native iphone/android app? or both?

This will likely require a paid customization to make this work for you. Is this something you would like us to research and provide a quote for?

I would also love to learn about this option. I was just in SugarCRM looking for the mailchimp activities subpanel and no dice.

Hello Michele,

Thank you for letting us know that you are interested in this feature. However, the dashlet is the best way to view the activities while on the web platform. Are you able to see the dashlet? We are looking at the customization to add subpanels for activities to each record.

Hello everyone,

I hope you've had a nice holiday season. I apologize for the long delay, but I've got good news regarding the feature. We were able to dig into what is needed to add the subpanels on mobile and the web application, and will be able to add them into the product with no additional development costs to do so. I expect it to be another week until we have the feature fully tested and integrated, but I will update this forum when we have made the new package public.

Hello anyone checking this channel. I am glad to announce the release of SugarChimp 7.11 which includes the MailChimp Activities sub panel for browser as well as mobile. We are currently working on updating our documentation to include the sub panel addition, but you can go ahead and download and install the latest version from your Purchases page here: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/orders

From there, you will install the update using the yellow section on the guide: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/SugarChimp/user-guide

Then, you will need to add the MailChimp Activities module to the mobile version from admin > Mobile.
