#3333 - Syncing a list from Sugar to mailchimp

We currently have SugarChimp Version: 7.8.3 Professional. I want to Sync a Sugar Target List that pulls only a certain status of Accounts along with their contact info. I only want Accounts with an Open or In Progress status. Do I have the right version of SugarChimp to be able to do that? I am struggling with getting the right info to sync.

    Hello Michele, I'm happy to get you setup here. Our default functionality does not include Account syncing, but it can be turned on. However, in order to automate that syncing process you will need to be on the Ultimate edition. This will allow you to have Accounts that only match certain criteria added to the Target List and pushed to MailChimp automatically.

    Looking at your license ping information, I'm not sure that the Sugar scheduler is working correctly. Since we also need to enable Account syncing, I believe it would be best to get on a call to make sure things are working correctly and you're getting what you need. Unfortunately, we are at SugarCon this week and are unavailable to take calls.

    You will need to get on the latest version of SugarChimp for Sugar 7 in order to get Account syncing (7.9.2). It can be downloaded from your Purchases Page. From there, can you schedule a call with us for first thing next week so that we can make sure that we get your filtered Account syncing running without any more issues.       ok I can work on getting the latest version of SugarChimp. When you say "automate the syncing process" we would need to be on ultimate. Is there a manual sync we can control and still be on the Professional version we have? I will also schedule a call for early next week. Thanks

    Hello Michele,

    Yes, you can stay on Professional to do the sync manually instead of automated. To update the Target List, you will just need to create a Sugar report for Accounts with an Open or In Progress status. After the report is saved, go to the Target List, Accounts subpanel, click the arrow dropdown option, and choose 'Select from Report'. Choose your new report and those Accounts should get added to the Target List.

    We will still need to enable Account module syncing on our call in order to get this working. Let me know if you have any more questions.

      ok just tried to install the latest version of SugarChimp and got this.....

      Cross Site Request Forgery (XSRF) Attack Detected

      Form authentication failure (Administration -> UpgradeWizard_commit). Contact your administrator.

    Hello Michele,

    I apologize for the delayed response here, as we were out at the SugarCRM conference. The Cross Site Forgery tends to happen when metadata gets out of sync from the rest of SugarCRM. It happens occasionally in Studio and here as Module Loader. It's a scary looking pop-up, so I understand your concern for sure.

    Did the pop-up happen during the upload or the installation process? Can you try to upload and install the package again and let me know what you get. Also, were you able to schedule a time for us to look at the the integration: https://calendly.com/fanaticallabs/sugarchimp-support

      That is so weird because it worked this time just fine. I was getting the error when uploading the new SugarChimp version into Sugar using the module loader. I will schedule that call right now.

    Hello Michele,

    It is strange and seems sporadic when it happens for the user. I wish Sugar had a better way of saying "Something is weird, try refreshing the page." Again, we've seen that many times, including when you're changing fields in Studio, not related to loading modules. I'll look for your meeting and get the credentials over to you shortly.
