#3106 - Admin section access for non-admin users

Closed Bug? created by Joenineo 6 years ago

Hi

We have set up a Role and given the role Admin, and also tried Admin and Developer, but a Regular User can not see it in there Admin section.

Is this possible to enable somewhere.

using On-Site 7.7.1.2

    Hello,

    I apologize for the trouble, and am happy to help you find the best solution here. As you've said above, I do not believe regular users will be able to access the SugarChimp configuration and sync settings by default. However, since the module is not restricted, you can certainly give them a bookmark link to access the SugarChimp pages directly. Once on a SugarChimp page, the user will be able to navigate to other SugarChimp pages from the module dropdown menu.

    Will this workaround be enough in your scenario? Some questions to help us consider the current settings: What functionality are you wanting Regular users to access? How many regular users do you believe need access to the SugarChimp pages?

    I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks, Jon
