#2375 - Mail Chimps Masterlist not sinking

Closed Bug? created by Manon Moisan 7 years ago

Hi,

The tests were doing great but then the lists Mail chimp list stoped synching after I deleted some subscribers in mailchimp and added 3 fields in the genral subscription form. I have done my resync a few times, but with no success.

Can you help me with this?

Thanks,

Mathieu

    Hello Mathieu,

I apologize for the trouble, but I'm happy to help you out. Can you tell me what fields you have mapped between Sugar and MailChimp? Did you set any of those new MailChimp fields to required? If a required field in MailChimp is not mapped appropriately, it can really disrupt the sync.

Can you go to Sugar > Admin > SugarChimp Health Status and take a screenshot of everything on that page? Towards the bottom you will see a SugarChimp Logger Level. If it is not already, please change it to “Debug”.

Then, go and submit another resync. From there, just wait about 20 minutes and then send me the Sugar Logs. To get the sugar log, go to Sugar > Admin > System Settings and click "View Log" at the bottom. Then click "All" to get all of the log file data. Copy everything that is on that page, then put it into a text file. That will help me get a little more information. Then email the screenshot and text file to support@sugarchimp.com and I’ll look into it. Let me know if you have any more questions!

      Hi,

In sugar, only the Occupation field is required. In Mailchimp, none of the fields were required.

If none the the new fields are sync, it works.

The logger level is set to Debug.

I'll send the log file and the screenshot at the support address.

      Thanks,

      Mathieu

    Hello Mathieu,

Thanks for the files through email. I am unable to find anything that would cause such a disruption. I would like to try to schedule a time we can get on a screenshare to troubleshoot this issue further. I will reach out via email to set something up. Thanks.

We were able to find issues with the field mapping of dropdowns on a screenshare. The dropdown menu in MailChimp needed to reflect the display label for the dropdown in Sugar, opposed to the database name. Also, SugarChimp uses the default language of the 'Admin' Sugar user to choose which label to use. This is why it was the English label.

I'm going to close this case out. Let me know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks.
