#1161 - Field Mapping

Closed General Question created by robinspencerkiefer 9 years ago

i have completed setup for sugar chimp and have linked to my only list in mailchimp.

i specified that the MC list would come Sugar as targets, but i don't any records in Sugar > Targets.

Also, i'd also like to take my exisinting list of Sugar Contacts and send them into mailchimp; but i'm unsure how to do that- do i need to create unique lists in mailchimp for sugar contacts, sugar accounts, etc?

thanks

Hello, I can help with this. A few questions to start with:

    1) How many people were in your MailChimp list when you told them to come through to Sugar as Targets? If you did not have any in the MailChimp list, then they will not be added to Sugar.

    2) If you had someone on the MailChimp List, Sugar's on-demand schedulers (what powers the integration) sometimes run a little slow. Now that some time has passed, do you see that the people came in as Targets? Do they show up on the Target List that was created?

    3) If you'd like to add Sugar Contacts to MailChimp, all you need to do is go to your Target List in Sugar that you linked to MailChimp and add people to the list. When you do this, they will be queued to be synced to MailChimp. Once the scheduler has time to run (may take 5-10 minutes) you'll see your contacts on the same MailChimp list.

Let me know what you find here. Thanks!
